We are a progressive resource development company focused on artisanal mining prospects within the Skeleton Coast region of Namibia. Founded in 2019, we strive to bring the best out of a region renowned for its high quality gemstones.
Our company specialises in producing Demantoid utilising ethical mining practices and industry leading cutting facilities. Namib Gems strives to provide the highest quality Demantoid available out of Africa.

NAMIBIAN DEMANTOID
Demantoid is one of the most brilliant gemstones traded today, until recently it was exclusive to gem collectors and Russian nobility. Not without reason does it bear a name which means 'diamond-like'.
The name derives from Dutch and makes reference to its incomparable brilliance and fire.
First discovered in Namibia in the 1990s, the Erongo region produces the premier Demantoid garnet out of Africa.
NATURALLY BEAUTIFUL
Each stone is carefully extracted by hand as not to damage the precious material.
This artisanal mining method ensures the preservation of the stunning local environment.
